Our amphitheater has a new name!!! We are so blessed to announce that The Cole Foundation has graciously donated $100,000.00 to Angel Park, buying the rights to name the Amphitheater. From this day forward, the amphitheater will be forever known as the "BUD & BETTE COLE AMPHITHEATER". We all feel honored to have the amphitheater named in memory of such a wonderful Perry Hall family.

WHAT IS ANGEL PARK?

The word “angel” can have many meanings, but it is always a reflection of something good and positive. Whether referring to a special person in our lives, an individual who has performed a good deed, or someone blessed with a special talent or gift, we all use the word “angel” in a complimentary and positive way.

Angel Park – a new all-inclusive playground and amphitheater facility in Perry Hall, MD has a very real and personal meaning to members of our community. The name was purposely chosen to represent a vision of an ideal setting for happiness and reflection. This name was selected to inspire support from the widest audience and to build the enthusiasm and momentum necessary to make it a reality.

Angel Park began from an idea that came to Kelli and Andy Szczybor after the loss of their baby boy, Ryan. From a sad origin, a bright and life affirming idea emerged – to build a place for laughter, activity and fun, for families and friends throughout the surrounding neighborhoods.

Angel Park will incorporate the designs and ideas of local children and artists. It will be built and supported by the community and provide a unique destination to be enjoyed by all families for years to come. It will be more than a memorial park; it will be a special place for children, families and friends.

How can I help?

The Angel Park Planning Committee needs tons of volunteers to make it a success.  Visit the "Get Invloved" page for the volunteer application.

What is an all-inclusive playground?

Angel Park will be built to be an all-inclusive playground.    The design firm hired to assist the community, Leathers and Associates, defines an all-inclusive playground as "a fun-filled place where children can play together with their peers, family, friends, and neighbors without experiencing physical or social barriers to inclusion."  Click here to learn more.

Where it is located?

Angel Park will be located next to Perry Hall Library (9685 Honeygo Blvd., Perry Hall, MD 21128).

The park is less than 1/2 mile from Belair Rd. and approximately 3 miles from Exit 67 (Route 43) off I-95.
